Ensure the app is configured to use the correct proxy

During the installation of Discount Ninja, the app's proxy settings in Shopify are configured automatically to ensure seamless connectivity with its backend servers. In most cases, no manual adjustments are required. However, if the proxy settings were inadvertently changed, you can follow these steps to verify and correct them as needed:

Steps to verify proxy

1. Access Shopify Settings:

  • Navigate to your Shopify admin panel.

  • Click on Settings located at the bottom left corner.

2. Open Apps and Sales Channels:

  • Within the Settings menu, select Apps and sales channels.

3. Locate Discount Ninja:

  • In the list of installed apps, find Discount Ninja.

  • Click on the adjacent contextual menu (three dots) and choose View details.

4. Customize the App Proxy:

  • Scroll to the App proxy section.

  • Click on Customize URL.

  • Ensure the following settings:

    • The first dropdown is set to /apps.

    • The textbox contains discountninja.

Final result

The final proxy URL should appear as: /apps/discountninja
